Immersive Hues Brought To You By The Color Factory
Jealous of your friends in LA with their colorific photos from the Museum of Ice Cream? Envy no more as The Color Factory, brought to you by Jordan Ferney of Oh Happy Day, artist Leah Rosenberg, and designer Erin Jang, bursts into San Francisco on August 1.
Expect to have your chromatic sense boundaries tested and your inner kid to be overjoyed by all the whimsical pigments in this two story interactive exhibition featuring art by Jacob Dahlgren, Tom Stayte, Geronimo Balloons, Tosha Stimage, Stanton Jones, Andrew Neyer & Andy J. Miller, Carissa Potter, Jessica Hische, Rebecca Wright, Randi Brookman Harris, Leah Rosenberg and Erin Jang.
Some highlights include a GIANT yellow ball pit (filled with 207,000 balls to be exact), confetti rain room where you can make confetti angels on the ground, bubble bath dreamscape, disco ball prism room, and deliciously colored treats from Chantal Guillon, Craftsman & Wolves, and Garden Creamery.
At entry, don't forget to register you special card which has a barcode that activates strategically located cameras at six different exhibits. All photos taken are instantly emailed to the user. Pretty nifty right?
Also, don't forget to grab one of the special Color Factory maps which shows a mini treasure map of where to find specially curated color experiences all over San Francisco! Some cool ones include Jessica Hische's secret mural, a surprise at Mister Jiu's secret entrance, and a matcha green fortune cookie along with newly painted green wall at the Fortune Cookie Factory.
It's fun, colorful and 100% Instagrammable (make sure to fully charge your phones before coming).
Location: 575 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94102
